2021 Awards for Scholarly and Professional Distinction Awards for Scholarly Distinctionĭarlene Clark Hine, Michigan State University and Northwestern Universityĭarlene Clark Hine, John A. It's a cool guitar, but I'd go for the locking tuners. The following is a list of recipients of the various awards, prizes, and honors that will be presented during the 135th annual meeting of the American Historical Association on Thursday, January 6, 2022, in Mardi Gras Ballroom E of the New Orleans Marriott. Getting some sandpaper and sanding down for a while sure beats changing your strings constantly. It might've saved all those strings I went through. I should've had that high E checked out when it was missing the string when I bought it. I chose this guitar, cause it didn't suck and it was $125. I also played a friend's Fender Strat and I thought the EX could hang with it fine. It's awesome sounding, especially to switch the tone to the high end, and strum near the bridge, great sound! Nice and REAL BRIGHT! I played several other anonymous guitars (I've slept since then). The trem does take it out of tune on the few occasions when I use it. It plays well, feels nice, can't complain. I kinda wish I would've shopped around a little before buying it and checked other stuff out, but hey, how much money is a poor college student gonna spend on an electric guitar to goof off on? $125 works for me! and, it's been great. I played only acoustic for a year and a half before that. I've been playing electric for two and a half years.
